A 12-year-old boy drowned at a school camp in Kinglake yesterday.

He was with 20 other students swimming in a large waterhole when the tragedy happened!  It took more than 2 hours for search and rescue officials to locate the boy’s body.

I heard the news this morning while driving to work.  My heart sank and felt so sad.  :-(   Words cannot express my feelings.  Life is so short…

At the same time, my eldest son also started his 1st day of school camp in Torquay yesterday.  He is going to be surfing at the beach!  I just hope everyone is going to be safe.
